Doorcare Limited designed and installed a replacement frameless glass main entrance screen with hidden high security access control and floating Videx control unit mounted in one of the side screens.
The building is designated as mixed-use, with the ground, first, second and third floors providing 34,000 sq ft (3,200 m2) of office space, and the remainder one- and two-bed apartments for students and professionals.
The whole development was designed with an "Urban village" in mind, and the residents may make use of the nearby amenities of the city centre, such as the shop and bars.
V1 is one of the largest mixed-use developments in Yorkshire.
